The body’s ability to recover from frequent workouts is the key to athletic success. Good training programs put targeted stresses on the body’s musculoskeletal system as well as the nervous system.

Our staff of Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and manual therapists is expertly trained in injury prevention, clinical examination & diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries, and evidence-based medicine.

Through the use of acute & chronic rehabilitation, therapeutic interventions, and soft-tissue therapy, we are able to provide a complete spectrum of care for all populations.

Our Physical Therapy and recovery facility is modeled to provide the exact same services to our clients that professional athletes are provided by their teams, including our staff of Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, manual therapists, and massage therapists.

SUNLIGHTEN SAUNA

Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna - Different from your traditional sauna, the Sunlighten Sauna uses infrared wavelengths of light to warm the body from the inside out. There are three infrared waves being emitted during a Sunlighten Sauna session. Near Infrared (NIR) assists in muscle recovery, body fat reduction, cell regeneration, skin health, and inflammation reduction.

Mid Infrared (MIR) yields benefits for heart health, circulation, pain relief, and muscle recovery. Far Infrared (FIR) has been proven to raise the cored body temperature, stimulating sweat glands and helping with heart health, weight loss, general wellness & relaxation and detoxification.

COLD PLUNGE

In recent years, cold water immersion has gained popularity in the athletic performance world for its benefits in muscle recovery. Research has demonstrated positive outcomes for muscle power, perceived recovery and muscle soreness. From a physiological perspective cold water immersion causes a release of epinephrine and norepinephrine. These two neurotransmitters improve energy and focus during and even for some time after immersion. '

Additionally, cold exposure causes the prolonged release of dopamine, which improves mood, focus and attention. Cold water immersion can help convert white fat to brown fat, triggering and improving sustained increases in metabolism. Research has shown that cold water immersion is effective in stress reduction and sleep improvement.

NEUBIE

Neufit’s product, the Neubie, is a direct current (DC) stimulation device. As part of the NeuFit protocols, the device is used diagnostically to identify areas where the body is governing or limiting range of motion, speed of movement, and muscle output. This diagnostic process allows practitioners to identify both weakness and excessive tension within muscle.

The information from the diagnostic process is then used to help re-pattern the problematic areas, as NEUBIE® stimulation is combined with NeuFit movement protocols. Sessions typically result in improvements in function, like greater range of motion and strength output, less pain, and enhanced quality of movement with a sense of ease. The NeuFit is also a great tool for clients with muscle atrophy after surgery.

NORMATEC

Normatec is designed in a way to provide sequential pneumatic compression. The various sleeves & attachments for the Normatec system have several compartments that fill with air in a specific pattern to improve circulation. Normatec is proven to help with lymphatic drainage. It can also help reduce swelling and inflammation, playing a pivotal role in post-injury or post- surgical rehab. Many athletes use the Normatec boots as a way to circulate blood flow before training and to assist in muscle recovery after performance.

GAMEREADY

The Med4Elite offers cold and heat therapy and has the option of adding compression. The unit has the ability to switch from cold to hot during the treatment, offering rapid contrast therapy. The Med4Elite can be used to reduce pain, muscle spasm and edema, reduce joint and muscle stiffness, and increase blood flow to the treatment site. Its use is especially helpful during injury, post-surgery and throughout different phases of recovery and rehabilitation.

CUPPING

Cupping (Myofacial Decompression)is a technique that has been used as far back as 400 B.C. There are various techniques, with one being most commonly used today. A pump can be used to create negative pressure within a cup, creating a decompression mechanism of the tissue. Some goals of this technique are to reduce lymphatic stasis and edema, improve healing and external tissues after surgery, increase blood flow, and acutely improve joint mobility.
