The DBC LVL 1 Certification course is an introduction to the field of biomechanics. Unlike most introductory biomechanics courses our course presents the medical and scientific research of the exercises that every personal trainer should have as a foundation to assist with their everyday programming with their clients. We present the mechanics of the general human motor programs of squatting, lunging, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and gait. Students learn the kinematics and kinetics of each movement and how to avoid the known mechanisms of injury. There are no prerequisites to the course so everyone from personal trainers, ATC’s , DPT’s Strength & Conditioning coaches and fitness enthusiasts have gone through this course.

DBC LVL 1 Certification course is an introduction to the field of biomechanics applied to the exercises performed in gyms and weight-rooms everyday. The course takes place over 2 eight-hour classroom days concluding with a written and practical exam to earn your certification. Registration for this course is non-refundable.
